In 2015, the UN developed a 15-year plan to solve the most pressing world problems. The International Organization for Standardization joins the United Nations and sets standards in effective ways to achieve sustainable development goals. ISO standards address the world's economic, environmental and social sustainability issues. With the introduction of ISO standards, each organization ensures that its activities grow, thereby helping to solve problems such as poverty, access to energy resources, health care, gender equality, economic growth, peace, etc.

Goal 1: Eradicate all forms of poverty.
